AIM OF SHORT COURSES
The Journey of Self Discovery also conducts several short courses on popular topics of interest with a focus on practical implementation to improve our lives. These sessions generally last 2-3 hours and aim to cover a topic in one sitting. Examples of such topics include:
- Art of Positive Thinking
- Art of Happiness
- Mastering the Art of Tolerance
- Time Management
- Stress Management
Knowledge can be given at multiple levels. It often answers the ‘what’ or explains the ‘why’. Knowledge of this type remains as mere information without the possibility develop into something more. But the most valuable knowledge also explains the ‘how’ and the ‘when’. This presents the opportunity for the knowledge to be applied effectively and blossom into something we covet – wisdom.
When we begin our journey of self discovery, we embark on a process of application, improvement and gradual perfection. For knowledge can be given, but wisdom is only acquired.
