Journey of Self Discovery (JOSD) comes to Newtown from 4th October 2019 (Friday)
After successful running of spiritual programs in Wellington CBD and Lower Hutt, JOSD is now delighted to start another program in Newtown that would be fun-filled, interactive, thought-provoking and absolutely free of charge.
People from all walks of life are welcome to join in this journey. In these 10 sessions we explore various concepts of Bhagavad Gita systematically and scientifically, bust many myths and test the relevance of Vedic wisdom for this digital age.
The topics discussed include:
- Why do bad things happen to good people?
- Roadblocks to happiness
- Self Help Techniques
- Who am I?
- Law of Karma
- What is Yoga?
- Does God exist?
- Quest of human life
- Melodious Kirtan
- Mantra Meditation
- Interactive group discussions
- Thought-provoking presentations
- A sumptuous free dinner
There will also be a children’s program which will run concurrently for your children over the age of 6 years. This will enable the parents to freely engage in the Journey of Self Discovery session for adults. Children under the age of 6 years old should be under the care of one of their parents.
Where: The City of Wellington Pipe Band Hall, corner of Hanson and Stoke St, Newtown, Wellington 6021
When: Every Friday from 6.45 pm to 8.45 pm starting from 4th October 2019.
