Spicy Roast Potatoes

A roasted delight with a hint of spice and a tangy kick

Ingredients

  • 4-5 nos. Medium-sized Potatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1.5 tsp Chilli Flakes Adjust as per taste
  • 1 tsp Chaat Masala Optional
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dry Herbs Optional
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil or any other oil
  • Water to boil

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes and place in boiling water for 5-6 minutes until partially cooked.

  2. Remove potatoes from water and once cooled, cut into wedges.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix the salt, chill flakes, chaat masala, pepper powder, dry herbs and oil.

  4. Place the wedges on a baking tray. Using a brush, coat the potato wedges with the oil and spice mixture.

  5. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 18 deg C for 40 mins, until golden brown.
